Bruxism
Bruxism, commonly known as teeth grinding or clenching, is a disorder that causes a person to grind, clench, or gnash their teeth together. Individuals suffering from bruxism may experience various issues while awake. Unknowingly grinding or clenching their teeth is just a couple of these problems. Sleep bruxism is typically classified as a sleep-related movement disorder.
Patients with temporomandibular joint disorders most often present with the following complaints:
– A “clicking” sound from the jaw joint,
– Pain in the ears, jaw joint, facial and neck muscles, and temples,
– Difficulty chewing,
– Difficulty opening the mouth,
– The jaw opening off to one side.
Our Service Process
01
Examination and Evaluation
A detailed oral examination, digital imaging, and needs analysis are used to create a personalized treatment plan.
02
Treatment Planning
Aesthetic and functional goals are set according to the diagnosis, and the process and session planning are communicated transparently to the patient.
03
Application and Control
The specified treatment plan is implemented with modern equipment, aimed at achieving permanent and healthy results through regular check-ups.
In some cases, pain may not be felt for years; only a clicking sound in the jaw joint continues, but during this time, the deformation progresses.
