Bruxism (Teeth Grinding and Clenching)
Bruxism
Bruxism is a condition in which a person involuntarily grinds or clenches their teeth, often during sleep.

Bruxism is a condition in which a person unconsciously grinds or clenches their teeth, mostly during sleep. Over time, this can lead to wear on the tooth surfaces, pain in the jaw muscles, sensitivity in the head and neck area, and problems in the jaw joint (TMJ). Waking up with jaw fatigue, sensitivity in the teeth, and fractures are common symptoms of bruxism.
In our clinic, the treatment of bruxism is planned through a detailed examination of the jaw joint and digital analysis. Customized night guard applications help prevent tooth wear and promote relaxation of the jaw muscles. When necessary, botulinum toxin applications are used to reduce muscle activity, aiming for long-term comfort. Early diagnosis is critical in preventing lasting tooth damage.
